Anagram

Jumbled letters, a category hint, and a window to decode it. Hints land in real time on animated tiles. First correct takes the max — but the rest of chat is right behind.

The pitch

Crossword-clean wordplay for the BRB scene. Letters tumble into place as a jumble; a category hint sits above (FRUIT, COLOUR, COUNTRY); chat races to type the unscrambled word in plain chat.

As the timer ticks, hint letters peel off the jumble and FLIP into their correct position — a cinematic shared-state animation that reveals the answer one letter at a time. First chat to solve takes max; later solvers get half, down to a floor.

How a round plays

1. Streamer says !start

A round opens. The category hint slides in (FRUIT, ANIMAL, CITY, COUNTRY...) and the scrambled letters land in a row of tiles below.

2. Hint letters reveal mid-round

Every ~15 seconds a tile detaches from the jumble row and FLIP-animates into its correct position above — sparkles, easing curves, the works. Chat sees the answer take shape.

3. Chat types the word in plain chat

No prefix. Type the unscrambled word and hit enter. Matcher accepts case-insensitive, normalised input. One guess per viewer per round.

4. First correct gets max

First solver gets 1000 points minus a small time decay. Subsequent solvers get half. The round ends when the timer expires or the streamer calls !skip.

5. Reveal, then next jumble

The full word reveals with a satisfying flip cascade, the session leaderboard refreshes, and the next jumble loads automatically. Continuous play until !abort.

Numbers

Corpus

55 words across difficulties

Hand-curated word list with difficulty banding (4–8 letters). Categories chosen to give chat a real shot — no obscure trivia traps.

Scoring

1000 max, time-decayed

First solver gets 1000 minus a small decay. Subsequent solvers get half. Floor of 100 so everyone who eventually cracks it scores.

Animation

FLIP-driven reveals

Shared layout-then-animate (FLIP technique) means the hint tiles literally fly from jumble row to answer row. Crisp at 60fps, no jank.
